Blogging
Civic Issue
During the second semester of this class, I had to keep a blog about a topic that was of civic importance to bring to the attention of my classmates and other readers. Upon looking at my Issue Brief or Advocacy Project, it is no surprise that I chose to write about environmental issues. One post from this blog, The Green Flag, can be found below. At the end of the day, it does not matter where you live, what background you come from, or where you align politically. The changing of the climate is a global issue that if not faced can cause irreversible harm to our planet's ecosystems and the human way of life as we know it.
Passion Blog
On a personal note, throughout my time in this course I kept up with a blog that revolved around one of my passions- music. The blog is called Sound Shape, and delves into how different musical experiences have shaped different aspects of my personality, outlook on life or just my music tastes. One of my favorite blog posts is the one I wrote about the time I met and played with Dweezil Zappa, son of Frank Zappa. This entry can be read below. This blog was written very informally, so keep in mind that this is not an example of my professional writing.
